History of the World in a Shortened Version

The comedy-musical “Historia świata w skróconej wersji” by Teatr Scena Współczesna at Nie Teatr in Białystok presents a cabaret journey through more than 3,000 years of human history. Jarosław Domin, Łukasz Matecki and Bartek Głogowski appear on stage, portraying historical figures and events in three incarnations. The show combines comedy, musical theatre and symbolic theatre, drawing on motifs such as Napoleon, Columbus, hippies and aliens. Scenes include, among others, a multilingual summary of “Trylogia”, a talk-show-style duel between Maria Curie-Skłodowska and Einstein, and a hip-hop take on Renaissance personalities. The script and direction are by Włodzimierz Kaczkowski, the song lyrics were written by Krzysztof Konrad, and the music was composed by Janusz Grudziński. This is a show for people who enjoy comedy, music and an unconventional take on history. Tickets are available through the KupBilecik service.
