“Pieśni Leara” - a performance based on William Shakespeare

The performance “Pieśni Leara” by Teatr Pieśń Kozła, inspired by William Shakespeare’s tragedy “King Lear,” will be presented in the theatre seating configuration at Teatr Palladium in Warsaw. In the performance, words, voice, movement and music come together to create a stage story about the tensions in Lear’s tale, with each section taking the form of a separate composition.

Teatr Pieśń Kozła is a Polish theatre company that has developed its own approach to working with the body, voice and text. The performance was directed by Grzegorz Bral, the theatre’s founder and artistic director. “Pieśni Leara” received the Fringe First, Herald Archangel and Musical Theatre Matters Award at the Edinburgh Fringe festival.

This is a performance for people interested in Shakespeare and dramatic theatre that combines music and movement. Tickets are available through KupBilecik.
