Name, e-mail and tax ID. Confirm your e-mail address and enter the organizer panel.

Add a listing, an event or a deal
Description, photos, address on the map, opening hours, contact details. An event has a date, venue and ticket link; a deal has an expiry date and terms.

Moderation and publication
Every entry is checked by a moderator - that is why the catalog has no spam. Once approved, the entry is on the portal, on the city and category pages, and search engines can index it.

All events and deals in one view - month, week, day - with export to Google Calendar and Outlook (.ics).
Statistics
Listing and event views, phone and website clicks, inquiries. Counted uniquely, without bots and without your own visits.
Customer messages
Customers write straight from your listing, you reply in the panel. You get an e-mail about every new message.
Reviews and replies
Customer reviews with star ratings and public replies. The rating goes into structured data that Google may use in search results.

Why a catalog when I have my own website
Your own website usually wins in Google for your own name. It does worse for the searches people make before they know you: "play centre Rzeszow", "what to do this weekend in Krakow", "escape room for kids". Those queries are won by pages that gather many places in one spot - and that is what Besist does.
Your listing is a separate page in the catalog: its own address, a title with your name, category and city, description, photos, map, opening hours and schema.org data Google may use for rich results. On top of that it is linked from your city page, your category page and the "category in city" page - a link from a portal that a company website usually does not get.
Events and deals work like fresh content: every new event is a new page with a date that lands on the "today", "tomorrow" and "this weekend" lists, with its date, venue and tickets described in structured data Google may use for an event result. A deal with an expiry date lands on the deals list for your city. The more you add, the more visits you collect - not only the catalog.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to add a business?
Nothing. A business account and a listing are free with no time limit. Paid plans extend what you can do (more events, photos, offers, higher position) but are not required to be in the catalog.
How quickly will my listing appear?
After a moderator approves it - usually within 1-2 business days. First you need to confirm the e-mail address from registration. You get a notification in the panel and an e-mail with the decision.
Can I add a business without a tax ID?
A business account requires a Polish tax ID (NIP) - it protects the catalog from fake entries. Foundations, associations and cultural institutions have one too and can add a listing.
How do I add a one-off event, like a concert?
In the panel: Events -> Add event. Enter the name, date, venue, price or free entry and a ticket link. The event has to belong to your listing. The free plan includes one event a month, higher plans more.
Can I edit an entry after it is published?
Yes, any time from the panel. Deal changes go back to moderation; listing and event edits are visible right away.
What happens to an event after its date?
It disappears from the current lists, but its page stays - someone looking for photos of last year's edition still lands there. You add the next edition as a new event.
How do reviews work?
A signed-in user can leave a review. You see it in the panel and can reply publicly. Reviews that break the rules can be reported to moderation.
Can I have more than one listing?
Yes - a business with several venues adds a separate listing for each address, all under one account.
