Alicja Majewska and Włodzimierz Korcz

A concert by Alicja Majewska and Włodzimierz Korcz with the Warsaw String Quartet, prepared to mark the 50th anniversary of their artistic collaboration, will take place at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk. The “Jubilee” programme features well-known songs by the duo, including “Być kobietą”, “Odkryjemy miłość nieznaną” and “Jeszcze się tam żagiel bieli”. Alicja Majewska is a Polish singer known for her interpretations of literary songs and works with lyrics by Wojciech Młynarski. Włodzimierz Korcz is a composer and pianist who has worked with the artist for many years. Together, they create a repertoire at the crossroads of pop and popular stage song, and their artistic collaboration has lasted half a century. The concert will feature both hits and other songs from their body of work, in an intimate arrangement with a string quartet. This event is for people who appreciate Polish songs, familiar melodies and Młynarski’s lyrics. Tickets are available from KupBilecik.
