Museum collections are made available in the form of permanent exhibitions as well as temporary exhibitions.
The permanent exhibition is thematically divided into three parts: archeology, history and art.
The archaeological exhibition presents objects from the Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and the early Middle Ages, giving an overview of the material culture of the inhabitants of the Nadnotecka Region. Examples of the presented archaeological objects are ceramics, antler, stone and iron tools, jewelry, face ashtrays, a treasure of bronze axes and many others.
The historical exhibition includes especially memorabilia related to the Piła region from the 16th century and ending with the history of World War II. Among them you can find, among others the outfit of a Polish nobleman, chain mail, chests and guild memorabilia, relics from the non-existent, oldest church in Piła, dedicated to St. Janów, postcards of old Piła, Judaica, World War II uniforms and many others.
The permanent exhibition of the art department is primarily interior design from the classicist style, through Rococo, Empire, Biedermeier, historicism, Art Nouveau and art deco furniture. A large part of the exhibits in the field of art is occupied by ceramics, in particular the one from the famous Stanisław Mańczak Fajans Factory from nearby Chodzież.
