Opowieść Wigilijna

The family musical “Opowieść Wigilijna,” based on the prose of Charles Dickens, will be presented at Teatr Palladium in Warsaw. The adaptation was prepared by Teresa Kurpias-Grabowska, and the production is directed by Marek Grabiniok. At the heart of the story is Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly and lonely merchant whose encounters with extraordinary visitors lead him to change his attitude toward life and other people.

Charles Dickens was an English Victorian-era writer, known for stories about people from different social classes and the lives of the poor. “Opowieść wigilijna” is one of his best-known works. Scrooge’s story combines a Christmas plot with reflections on mercy, compassion and charity, and its message concerns values that should guide people not only at Christmas.

The show may appeal to families and to anyone interested in a musical stage adaptation of Dickens’s classic tale. Tickets are available through the KupBilecik service.
