Laboratorium Pieśni

A Laboratorium Pieśni concert as part of the new Septem tour will take place at Stary Maneż in Gdańsk. Founded in 2013, the all-female singing group creates arrangements of traditional polyphonic songs from various cultures, including Slavic, Balkan, Georgian and Scandinavian. The artists combine ethnic music, folk and world music, singing a cappella or accompanied by instruments such as the shruti box, flutes and drums. Vocal improvisation inspired by the sounds of nature plays an important role in their performances. The Septem tour draws on the album that grew out of more than ten years of the group’s work together. The concert may appeal to fans of polyphony, folk and musical traditions from different cultures. Tickets are available through KupBilecik.
