I like Queen - Piano Show

I like Queen - Piano Show is a piano concert featuring rock songs by Queen in arrangements by Phillip Keveren, performed by Maciej Łobos at I like Chopin in Gdańsk. The programme combines the band’s music with a story about Freddie Mercury and his journey from Farrokh Bulsara of Zanzibar to one of rock’s most recognisable frontmen. The compositions mentioned include “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Don't Stop Me Now”, “We Are the Champions” and “The Show Must Go On”. Phillip Keveren is an American arranger affiliated with the University of Southern California. His arrangements give Queen’s songs a piano format, and Maciej Łobos performs them during the concert. The story of Mercury offers an insight into his artistic pursuits, charisma and passion for creating, providing a backdrop to the band’s music. This is an event for fans of Queen, rock and piano interpretations of well-known songs. Tickets are available through the KupBilecik service.
