I like Chopin - intimate candlelight concert

The intimate candlelit classical music concert I like Chopin, held at the I like Chopin venue in Gdańsk, is dedicated to the works of Fryderyk Chopin and other composers. The programme includes mazurkas, études, Polonaise in A major, Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 and Sonata No. 2, as well as works by Schumann, Beethoven, Grieg, Debussy, Mozart and Rachmaninoff. The performances are accompanied by stories about the circumstances in which the compositions were created and Chopin’s inspirations. Fryderyk Chopin was a Polish composer and pianist whose music is among the most important works in the piano repertoire. His work reflects influences from Polish folk music, while pieces from his Paris period have a more dramatic character. The concert may appeal to lovers of classical and piano music. Tickets are available through KupBilecik.
