Golec uOrkiestra - Christmas Carols and Pastoral Songs Concert

A concert of Christmas carols and pastoral songs by Golec uOrkiestra, a band that blends folk, pop and rock, will take place at Arena Ursynów in Warszawa. The Christmas programme features Polish carols and pastoral songs and invites the audience to sing along. Golec uOrkiestra was formed in 1998 at the initiative of brothers Paweł and Łukasz Golec. The group’s music reflects influences from the folklore of the Żywiec region, as well as jazz, pop and rock 'n' roll. The band brings these styles together, drawing on the traditions of the region its founders come from. It is one of Poland’s best-known musical acts, and this carol concert showcases the festive side of its work. The event may appeal to fans of Polish carols, pastoral songs and music inspired by the highland traditions. Tickets are available through the KupBilecik service.
