Chopin & Friends - piano concerts by candlelight

Chopin & Friends is a piano concert by candlelight in the concert hall beneath St. Joseph’s Basilica in Poznań. The programme combines selected works by Fryderyk Chopin with piano compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Schumann and Rachmaninoff, presented in an intimate, historic space.

Fryderyk Chopin was a Polish composer and pianist of the Romantic era, and his work focuses primarily on the piano. The best-known forms in his body of work include mazurkas, polonaises, nocturnes and études. His music shares the programme with works by composers who also created important pieces for the piano.

The concert may appeal to fans of classical music and piano recitals. Tickets are available through the KupBilecik website.
